[서울=뉴스핌] 김양섭 기자 = 바이오마커 기반 체외 암 조기진단 전문기업 지노믹트리(대표 안성환)가 '얼리텍®' 대장암검사 만족도 설문조사 결과 약 85.1%의 응답자로부터 정기적인 검사 의향이 있다는 답변을 받았다고 5일 밝혔다.
설문조사 대상인 지노믹트리의 '얼리텍®'은 DNA의 메틸화를 바이오마커로 활용해 대장암을 검사하는 서비스다. 대변 1~2g 만으로 대장암 검사를 받을 수 있으며, 대장내시경을 받기 위해 검사 전날 금식 및 장 세척약을 복용하는 과정 없이 대장암 검사를 받을 수 있다는 간편함과 높은 정확도가 장점이다.
이번 설문조사는 약 400만명이 이용하는 종합 비즈니스 플랫폼 '리멤버' 리서치 서비스에 의뢰해 지노믹트리의 대장암 진단 서비스 '얼리텍®' 검사를 받아 본 경험이 있는 214명을 대상으로 이뤄졌다.
첫 번째 설문 문항인 '얼리텍®' 대장암 검사를 선택한 이유에 대해서 29.4%가 '대장내시경(장 세척 등)을 하기 힘들어서라고 답했다. 그 밖의 응답으로는 '얼리텍®' 대장암 검사가 간편해서(25.2%)', '정확도가 높아 보여서(12.1%)', '대장내시경 스케줄 조정이 어려워서(10.7%)', '작년에 대장내시경을 했기 때문에 새로운 검사를 받기 위해서(9.8%)', '병원추천(8.8%)', '지인추천(2.3%)' 순으로 답했다.
두 번째 설문 문항인 '얼리텍®' 대장암검사 만족도에 대해서는 보통(32.2%), 높음(37.3%), 매우 높음(20.5%)으로 답해 약 90%가 대체로 높은 만족도를 보였다. 그러나 직접 분변을 채취해 검체키트에 넣어야 하는 이유 때문에 응답자 중 9%가 낮음(7.9%), 매우 낮음(1.8%)으로 답했다.
세 번째 문항은 이미 경험한 '얼리텍®' 대장암 검사의 재검사 의향을 물었다. 그 결과 응답자 중 89.7%가 대부분 긍정적으로 답했으며, 재검사 의향에 대한 이유를 묻는 후속 질문에선 '간편해서(42.2%)', 대장내시경 스케줄 조정이 어려워서(18.2%)', '장 세척약을 안 먹어도 돼서(19.7%)', '금식을 안 해도 돼서(11.9%)', '정확도가 높아서'(7.8%) 순으로 답했다.
마지막으로 '얼리텍®' 대장암 검사를 통해 정기적(3년 주기)으로 대장암 검진을 받기 원하는 지에 대해서는 85.12%의 응답자가 긍정적으로 받을 의향이 있다고 답변했다. 또한, '얼리텍®' 대장암검사를 지인에게 추천할 의향이 있는 지에 대한 질문에서도 82.7%의 응답자가 추천할 의향이 있다고 답변했다.
